This beautifully restored 1895 brick building in Peoria Heights features exposed brick walls, original pine floors, and wooden beams that give it authentic charm. Haven on the Farm

For couples who want a countryside escape without sacrificing comfort, Haven on the Farm delivers every time. This 10-acre property features a climate-controlled barn that can host up to 300 guests, surrounded by manicured grounds and maple tree-lined drives. The dedicated bridal house with beauty stations means you and your wedding party can get ready on-site, something we’ve seen make the day feel much more relaxed.

We love catering here because the rustic southern charm pairs beautifully with elegant presentations, and there’s something magical about serving dinner as the sun sets over the farm. It’s the perfect blend of country romance and modern amenities.

Marlene’s Event Barn

Capacity: Up to 220 seated guests (250 possible for pavilion/outdoor)

Built by a family who dreamed of creating the perfect wedding venue, Marlene’s offers what they call “rustic luxury,” and they’ve nailed it. Located just north of Peoria, this picturesque barn accommodates up to 220 guests and includes a pavilion for outdoor ceremonies and a couple’s cabin for the wedding party.

What we’ve always appreciated about working at Marlene’s is the personal touch. The staff genuinely cares about making your planning stress-free, and the space is set up to let couples customize everything. We’ve served beautiful farm-to-table-style meals here and elegant plated dinners. The venue works with your vision, not against it.

Venue Chisca

Capacity: Up to 500 seated guests (indoor), 300 (outdoor); Memphis Room seats 250

Located in nearby Eureka, The Cannery is a renovated historic space with industrial charm and an artisan vibe. With multiple event spaces (the Main Space, the Crate, and the Grove), you can host up to 250 guests and truly customize your setup. The open vendor policy means we can work together to create exactly the menu you’re envisioning.

We’ve catered creative, personalized celebrations here, and the venue’s character gives you a head start on atmosphere. Couples love it for the flexibility and the supportive staff who encourage you to make the space uniquely yours.

Wildlife Prairie Park

Just 20 minutes from Peoria, this 2,000-acre wildlife park was named Peoria’s Best Wedding Venue for 2024. You can choose from stunning ceremony sites in prairies, woodlands, or scenic overlooks, then move to one of several indoor reception rooms. Overnight cabin stays are available, including in historic train cars, and you can arrange bison photo ops that your photographer will love.

The Barn at Bull Run

This beautifully restored 1933 dairy barn in Morton blends vintage charm with modern updates. Managed by the Morton Park District, it offers ceremony and reception space for up to 250 guests, plus bridal and groom suites.

We’ve served many weddings in this classic barn setting, and it gives you that authentic barn wedding feel with the convenience of updated facilities. The space is spacious but still intimate, with real character that doesn’t require much extra decoration. Your food and your people become the focus.

BONUS: Five Points Washington

Capacity: Up to 500 seated guests

This beautiful venue right outside of Peoria in nearby Washington offers over 7,000 square feet of event space and can host up to 500 guests. As a nonprofit venue with a community focus, it’s known for reliable service, affordable pricing, and flexibility—you can use the whole space or segment it for more intimate gatherings.

We’ve served everyone from 100 to 500 guests here, and the venue handles both beautifully. The outdoor patio is perfect for cocktail hour, and the staff is wonderful to work with. If you have a large guest list and want a venue that’s both spacious and stress-free, Five Points is worth the short drive.
